Inspiration
Innes spoke of her challenges dealing with gluten-free diet, and we realized that many people deal with this problem every day. Furthermore, we realized that people with dietary restrictions experience setbacks in their health and social lives. So, we wanted to create a website w/ restaurants that cater towards these people.
What it does
It lists restaurants that follow specific dietary restrictions. We also allow user interaction by asking users to submit restaurants that cater to their needs.
How I built it
We built it using HTML and CSS. (Sublime Text)
Challenges I ran into
Because we are relatively new to web development, we faced many issues with the styling with CSS. Our biggest issue was trying to make the website look aesthetically pleasing.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
We are proud of built this entire website without much experience in a relatively short period of time. We're also proud of the fact that this website can help those with special diets.
What I learned
We learned many different HTML & CSS concepts. In addition, we learned many different teamwork skills, ranging from communication to trust.
What's next for F+++ Stands for Food
We want to expand and add more restaurants to our site. We can also expand the categories of dietary restrictions to expand our audience.
