As we are all students, we know the struggle all too well—the anxiety of cramming for an exam the night before. So we thought to ourselves why not make something that not only helps us during our examination but also the students around the world. We present you with a game-changer: ezPrep, your ultimate last-minute exam buddy!

What it does

ezPrep is a web app designed to transform last-minute exam prep. It generates customized multiple-choice questions (MCQs) based on your selected topic or text, letting you study efficiently whether you're at home, at a café, or wherever you find yourself in those crucial hours before the exam.

How we built it

To build ezPrep, we used Gemini 1.5 Flash for AI-driven MCQ generation, Next.js for a fast frontend, and Tailwind CSS for design. Prisma with PostgreSQL managed our data, while TypeScript ensured code quality. This tech stack delivers a powerful and user-friendly exam prep tool.

Challenges we ran into

Creating ezPrep involved developing an advanced MCQ generation algorithm, ensuring a user-friendly interface that works across devices, optimizing for speed, and maintaining scalability, data accuracy, and privacy. Despite these challenges, our team’s collaboration resulted in a robust, user-friendly app.
