Inspiration

We wanted a place where we can track our food items we need which we took that one step further and implemented an AI that help us improve our decisions on making recipes and seeing our food items.

What it does

Most college kids are new to adulting hood like cooking for themselves while also struggling to find a budget for all their necessities, EZmeal would take care of meal ideas, and the budget ideas in a simple way anyone could us to better their buyers experience and health.

How we built it

we are using react for front end and python + fastAPI for the back end.

Challenges we ran into

Some challenges we ran into was implementing the AI features into our website. specifically AI models like Lama AI cannot process images without a GPU so we had to change to using GROK

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We where able to complete a dummy front end but we now have to fully finish integrate it with our back end.

What we learned

We learned how to make API calls and how to run LLM locally

What's next for EZmeal

We are finishing the implementation of out app and working our hardest to fit our track
