Inspiration
CO2 emissions are a problem which threaten the future of the next generations, and so we decided to make a webpage which facilitates the comprehension of how users can implement solar panels into their house.
What it does
Our webpage simulates the house of a user and allows to check the efficiency of the solar panels
How we built it
Combining an html and a unity project we were able to simulate the house and buildings around it and using the electrical consumption of the user we can quantify the savings.
Challenges we ran into
Making sure the unity project didn’t change according to fps was a major wall to overcome, we also had trouble syncing ruby on rails with html among others.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We managed to overcome the challenges we mentioned earlier and created a project which has the potential to grow.

Allowing users to input their own house model.
