Developed a prototype of LinkedIn Application to demonstrate RESTful web services using Message oriented Middle-ware. The system follows MVC structure and single page application designed to be vertically and horizontally scalable and performs collection pooling using MySQL's generic-pool service. The system provideds features like sign-up, sign-in, sing-out, create/edit/delete user profile, search members, invite/accept connections, display connections, upload photos and track user last logged in information.
