## Inspiration:We wanted to challenge ourselves in an area we were not familiar with by accepting the CoinRoute challenge. Our inspiration came from the fact that most of the existing crypto portfolio and trading apps currently on the market are extremely similar in design and hard to follow.
## What it does: EZ Vault makes buying, viewing, selling, trading, and storing crypto finances easy for any newbies looking to join the market. It also provides a fresh and modern feel to the stock market space.
## How we built it: We built EZ Vault using the Figma platform while implementing the APIs through the Visual Studio platform.
## Challenges we ran into: Amber: On the front end, as someone new to Figma, my challenges were in learning the platform and how to run a smooth prototype demo of the app. Daniel: On the back end my issue was to extract the JSON file that was sent onto Visual Studios in order to extract the data that was needed to fill in the data charts.
## Accomplishments that we're proud of: We most definitely challenged ourselves, and now know what we don't know! We are proud that we were able to accomplish a more modern take on the interface of cryptocurrency.
## What we learned: We all were introduced to the Figma platform and learned how to navigate the tools in order to build a wireframe and functioning prototype. We also learned that this platform handles APIs and we are able to manipulate the data that can be extracted from any source (and are learning to use this feature).
## What's next for EZ Vault: Making EZ Vault work!! Learning how to connect the data from the APIs to have a fully functioning app.
