Inspiration

Boris started a blockchain lab inside of DigiU last year, the team did research, and realized that the most promising area is about decentralized data transfer.

What it does

Connect our alpha stage products to Metis Testnet network. It provides cross-chain swaps between Metis and Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, Heco, Avalanche, Polygon.

How we built it

We create Bridge contract to send and receive cross-chain requests from and to Metis. Use couple of contracts Portal.sol and Synthesis.sol to lock and mint cross-chain derivatives (sythetic assets).

Challenges we ran into

Obtain test tokens, host and connect our node to testnet

Be in time :D

What we learned

Metis is really fast and responsive network with one of best block time and gas cost.

Go to mainnet and work with real and valuable data
