Inspiration
The Covid-19 pandemic has led more people than ever to online work and school. This has left millions of people spending hours on end staring at their computer screens. In addition, many with previous underlying issues related to optic stress have suffered more than before. This pertinent issue led to the creation of EyeRoll. We personally know many individuals who have no access to or can not visit a vision therapist or eye specialist for exercises, so we created this website to include some of those exercises
What it does
A website to lead people through numerous visual exercises to help stay optically healthy. Doing these exercises will help to relieve stress off the eyes and head, allowing users to feel better, less stressed, and more productive.
How we built it
We built our website using HTML, CSS, and javascript
Challenges we ran into
We knew little to none of these coding languages before this, and had to learn them in a span of two days
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Learning all three languages in such short notice
What we learned
How to work together as a team, strategize, and how to use HTML, CSS, and Javascript
What's next for EyeRoll
We hope to reach out to eye doctors and more eye patients to ask what more they would want out of this website, and possibly convert it into an app to give access to more people.
