By 2030, the World Health Organization predicts that depression will the most common disease.
After doing market research and talking to psychiatrists this weekend, we realized that depression is a very reactive, non data-driven diagnosis that is based mainly on the psychiatrist’s training, experience, and intuition.
So, we are trying to advocate for a regular screening for depression that can predict onset earlier.
Our solution uses an EEG wearable and speech data and machine learning to analyze patterns, ultimately providing the doctor a "mental health score" to assist in early detection of depression.
