Inspiration
The inspiration of the project is increasing use of laptops, mobiles and tablets by people and carelessness of students while using these devices. People often compromise with their health while they spend hours facing the screen. Patients of COVID-19 and other diseases are already weak and the day by day increasing use of digital devices can affect the eyes. People notice changes in their vision and eye sight but keep neglecting it. There is a need to regularly check your eyes instead of ignoring the symptoms and self diagnosis.
What it does
The website talks about different exercises for eyes. It tells users their eye report by asking them to answer some questions by showing few images like it asks them to read out a number from a particular distance. It shows Do's and Dont's with eyes.
How we built it
It is built using HTML,CSS and JS. Frameworks used is Bootstrap.
Challenges we ran into
The challenge was to collect pictures and data which can help in detecting the user's eye report. It took a lot of time to search relevant data. It was somehow unmanageable to work for both front-end and backend, preparing for the pitch at the same time and searching for pictures, audios etc.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Its UI is minimalistic and the fonts are readable. The pictures chosen for examining eyes are relevant.
What we learned
Learned to manage a project on my own, got inspiration to learn more. Got to know how to manage the time.
