More often than not we make decisions based on what we SEE, therefore I figured that a picture-based restaurant recommendation would have been a no-brainer.
The idea is that it takes user-inputted parameters, generates a random distinct food dish, and then combines the two to give the user a restaurant recommendation based on the provided information.
I built it using PartyRock Powered by Amazon Bedrock.
One challenge I ran into was getting the correct prompt that would output in a consistent formatting.
I am proud of how this app came out and the simplicity it is based on.
I learned how to use GenAI to make a simple but very practical solution to a real-world issue.
Perhaps I can turn it into an online application hosted on AWS?!?!?!
