Inspiration
We are forgetful, but the iPhone Reminder app doesn't appeal to us.
What it does
It reminds the users of the most important event of their day at their selected time. It acts like an alarm: once the timer reaches the entered time, the app keeps sending the users text messages until they close the app. For a few seconds afterwards it still reminds you because people often forget right after they close the reminder.
How we built it
We used MIT App Inventor.
Challenges we ran into
The countdown did not work initially. It sent infinite texts, so we made it into a feature, not a bug.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
It sends the reminder to the right number at the right time.
What we learned
We learned the basics of designing an app.
What's next for EXTREME Rememory
We will add a feature that lets users record multiple reminders as well as share the reminders across multiple users.
