Inspiration

We use browsers in our daily activities. We often rely on readymade solutions to tackle our problems but its always difficult to find the exact solution we're looking for. Extn aims to resolve this by letting anyone build any extension they want to solve their problems.

What it does

It follows a simple principle: Describe and Download. Just describe your idea and the AI will generate the code for you, ready to download and install.

How we built it

We built it using LiquidMetal AI, specifically Raindrop MCP Server to guide AI Agent(Google Antigravity/Gemini) to build this.

Challenges we ran into

The main challenge is to produce a bug free extension in a first attempt. We incorporated different strategies to minimize error and maximize the quality of the output.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

This is the first ever platform where users can build what extension they want without relying on a third-party applications. They can instantly download and check the implementation and make corrections iteratively. It is user-friendly for both non-developers and developers.

What we learned

We learnt that what used to take months can now be built in days. Thanks to all the people behind this!

What's next for Extn

Extn currently supports Extension Simulator (Preview) but only with a limited features. Next, Extn aims to provide an in-browser experience to test extensions, or at least, replace the manual download-and-test approach with more robust way. On the other hand, Extn aims to centralize the extension applications into a single interface with a pool of own extensions.
