What inspired us?: Students are constant writers, and so we wanted to create a personal environment that makes writing more enjoyable.
What does it do?: Depending on specific moods, we provide a different page that accommodates with the appropriate music and background to allow the writer to fully immerse themselves in their current state of mind.
What did we use?: We used Github to upload our files and code pushed from Cloud9, the IDE that was primarily used to write the code.
What troubles did we run into?: We ran into transparency with the text box and the visibility of the text inside the text box, as well as trouble with broken links, causing the user to encounter a blank, nonexistent website.
What are we proud of?: After struggling to establish a final plan for our project, we managed to collaborate and compromise our different ideas and successfully attempted to create a project that includes all of our ideas while also being aesthetically pleasing.
What did we learn?: Even with languages as simple as HTML and CSS, there will always be problems that occur when the final product is available. There is never too many times that we can double check to make sure all things are both visually and technically correct.
What's next?: Adding new features, such as being able to save your entries, customize format, and accommodate for more complex moods. We are also looking to creating productivity-friendly environment.
