Inspiration
We decided to attempt to stop the spread of misinformation in our area because we've been witness to all the hostility and harm it has on individuals from all backgrounds.
What it does
It pulls information from the web all in one place for you to scroll through the facts of what's going on in our world today.
How we built it
We built it by learning the bare basics in CodeHS and using React Native.
Challenges we ran into
There were quite a few challenges.
- Almost none of us have coded prior to this.
- We skipped the introductory steps in learning to code (not by choice).
- Very few of us have dealt with video editing and recording.
- We had a shortened due date as well as only certain days to work on the project at all. ## Accomplishments that we're proud of We're proud that we finished our app in the end and got it turned in before the deadline. ## What we learned We primarily learned the value of teamwork and that sometimes it's best to divide and conquer. ## What's next for Expoundify We hope that in the future, we'll be able to provide even more information to our users.
