I always used to get confused regarding AR/VR and would think like what is there in AR/VR. I was thought that learning AR/VR would be of no use as we are making the things only to look in real and working with it. But when it slowly started to enter all the domains like Medical, Healthcare, Automotive, Gaming my mind got triggered and I thought it is must to learn in 2023 which is going to be in trend's in upcoming days. Now I have started exploring it and I think one day it will also be one of the mostly used technology in the industry. I have also experienced it once in mall. I was amazed when I experienced. Also, I came to know that one day it would completely revolutionize Healthcare industry where doctors and surgeons can make use of this technology to diagnose and treat the diseases in a very efficient way specially when it comes to diseases like Alzheimer's disease, Dementia, Parkinson's disease, etc.
Here's what I learnt basically- In AR, digital information is overlaid on the user's view of the real world. This can be in the form of text, images, or video, and it is typically accessed through a smartphone or tablet. For example, a person using AR to view a city map on their smartphone would see the map as an overlay on the live view from the phone's camera.
In VR, the user is fully immersed in a digitally created environment. This is typically achieved through the use of a headset that covers the user's eyes, blocking out the real world and replacing it with a simulated one. VR can be used for a wide range of applications, including gaming, training, and therapy.
In summary, AR enhances the user's view of the real world, while VR replaces it entirely.
