Inspiration
Artificial intelligence makes it possible for machines to learn from experience, adjust to new inputs provided and perform human-like tasks on their own. It is an upcoming technology that provides a lot of information and making many tasks easier.
What it does
Human Intelligence is the most advanced system in the world. The ability to be cognitive, analyze, having emotions are all part of human intelligence. Machine Intelligence is limited to the tasks we give to them. They don't have the ability to decide and can't operate without human intervention. That's why AI technology can minimize the limits and provide the machine to be cognitive and work without any inputs.
What we learned
AI technology has improved a lot within a few years. During the '50s, neural networks were used for implementing the AI system. These were networks that were similar to our brains. Our brains are connected by neurons and these neurons contain weights. Similarly, neural networks have neurons and nodes which has different weights and learning rate. Normalization is also used in the model. But the downside of this model is it cannot operate on its own and the data that can be inputted is limited and sometimes doesn't give good accuracy. Then, in the '80s a new AI feature started getting popular which is machine learning. It is still popular nowadays. Machine learning can be used to train the machine to learn and then test the machine to heck if the model gives accurate results. Machine learning models such as SVM, Random Forest Model are some of the popular models. During the 2010s, deep learning started becoming popular. It is basically a neural network that is deep. These are also called CNN (Convolution Neural Network). They may have thousands of nodes and weights which are provided with multiple information. This can provide us with better accuracies and train them even faster. Examples of deep learning models are Resnet, Dense net, etc. Reinforcement learning models which make the machine study on its own have also become popular nowadays. Improvements and research are still going on to make them more feasible and learn quicker. AI system is analyzed whether it's good or not by using Turing Test. The basis of the Turing Test is that the Artificial Intelligence entity should be able to hold a conversation with a human agent. The human agent ideally should not able to conclude that they are talking to an Artificial Intelligence. The AI system should possess qualities like Automated Reasoning, Knowledge Representation, and Natural Language Processing. Types of AI are: Weak AI-Weak AI is a type of AI which is able to perform a dedicated task with intelligence. IBM's Watson supercomputer also comes under Narrow AI, as it uses an Expert system approach combined with Machine learning and natural language processing. General AI-General AI is a type of intelligence that could perform any intellectual task with efficiency like a human. Currently, there is no such system exist which could come under general AI and can perform any task as perfect as a human. Super AI- Super AI is a level of Intelligence of Systems at which machines could surpass human intelligence, and can perform any task better than humans with cognitive properties. Super AI is still a hypothetical concept of Artificial Intelligence. The development of such systems in real is still world-changing task.
