MLH INIT Daily Challenge Day 1 Created a python module for detection of hands using mediapipe. It is configured such that any future projects requiring hand-detection will become easier to implement.

Exploration of Machine Learning and creation of python modules.

What it does

It is a module that makes it easy for future projects to implement any kind of hand tracking feature. It is very customisable.

How we built it

It was built in VSCode and the mediapipe library was used. The whole project was built in a linux system (Ubuntu).

Challenges we ran into

Understanding the library itself was a bit difficult and trying to configure the module to make it ass customisable as possible was tricky.

A deeper glimpse into Machine Learning and advance Python coding

What's next for Explore Machine Learning

Next more pattern tracking applications will be studied and made into modules, including posture estimation, face mesh, etc. Further, I will try to use these modules into real world applications like Virtual cursor and gesture based volume control.
