What's this?
Explore Indonesia is a board game inspired by the board games snakes and ladders and monopoly, what I took from snakes and ladders is the journey in the game, and monopoly takes the concept of a place that is included in the game.
How I built it
I created this augmented reality/effect using Lens Studio (of course) and the whole algorithm it's made by javascript. This effect uses several technologies provided by Lens Studio such as Remote Asset and Sync Framework
Remote Assets
I use Remote Asset technology to store 23 images of tourist places in Indonesia (of course I will add them for all provinces in Indonesia)

Sync Framework
I use Sync Framework technology so that this effect can be played by 2 people, yes of course board games will be fun if played by 2 people. (You don't have any friends? go outside, touch some grass, and talk to the people around you)

Multiplayer
As I explained above in the subtitle "Sync Framework" I made this effect into a multiplayer game, where each player chooses his own avatar or character, player 1 uses "Gerobak" and player 2 uses "Becak". These two objects or tools are traditional tools that are often used in Indonesia. Gerobakare is used for selling while becak are used to deliver passengers as a means of transportation

Achievements that we're proud of
To be honest, I'm not good at making 3D objects, but luckily the concept that I created only utilizes a few 3D objects which are very easy to make, and all of these 3D objects are low poly, very small in size, for the boards (along with trees, monas, steps, carts). , etc) is only 300KB, while the cart for characters is only 200KB
What we learned
I learned to use the Sync Framework and Remote Asset directly from the creation of this project, to be honest since this project was made I did not understand at all about these two technologies, so I took this opportunity to learn about these two technologies

What's next for Explore Indonesia
When this was written, Indonesia had 37 Provinces, while the blocks I made were only 29. Next, I want to make these blocks into 37 according to the number of provinces in Indonesia and multiply pictures of interesting tourist places in Indonesia
