Inspiration

We have always been curious about creatures that live under the sea. As humans living on land, we do not encounter many sea creatures so by being given the opportunity to research and create an application that revolves around the ocean, we decided to create an interface that teaches anyone the details about various animals.

What it does

This website allows the user to click on an animal they see and learn more details about it. The user will learn what temperature the animal needs to survive, what its diet consists of and other facts.

How we built it

We used HTML and CSS to design and execute our website.

Challenges we ran into

Some challenges we ran into are overlaying images onto other images and figuring out how to make the image open an informational webpage.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of our design and how this webpage allows users of any age to learn more about some animals.

We learned how to style pages using HTML and CSS syntax

What's next for Explore creatures below the Sea!

In the future, our team hopes to streamline this webpage by making popups instead of redirecting the user to a new webpage. We also hope to use SQL data bases to include more animals within our educational experience.
