Inspiration
- We wanted to make information about internet censorship more accessible, so we found all blocked connections from a data file and compiled our findings into a map.
How we built it
- We used Unix commands to sort through a 6gb file to find all blocked connections, we used a Python script to find the locations associated with the blocked IP addresses, and we finally transferred our information to a map to show the countries where censorship is most concentrated.
