💡 Inspiration

We built ExplainAI around a simple problem: technical concepts are not equally difficult for everyone. A beginner and an experienced developer can ask about the same topic but need completely different explanations.

We wanted to create an AI learning assistant that doesn't simply provide information, but explains information at the user's level.

🚀 What We Built

ExplainAI is a web application powered by Google Gemini that transforms complex concepts into explanations tailored to different levels of understanding.

Users can enter any topic and choose from five explanation levels:

• 🧒 10-Year-Old — Simple language and everyday analogies
• 🌱 Beginner — Easy-to-understand introduction
• 🎓 Student — Deeper conceptual explanation
• 💻 Developer — Technical and practical explanation
• 🧠 Expert — Detailed technical explanation

The application also provides practical examples, structured explanations, and follow-up questions to encourage continued learning.
