Inspiration

We started with the idea of exploring new recipes. However, as college students, we don't have time to cook frequently. When we do buy groceries, we forget about them, causing them to go bad.

What it does

Expir-expo is an application were you can enter in the expiration time of groceries and food items and it will remind you of what is expiring soon. An additional feature is recipe suggestions for the items that are expiring soon.

How we built it

It is prototyped and mocked on Figma

Challenges we ran into

Trying to design a business model around the idea was difficult to think about regarding if people would actually use an app like this. Connecting backend to frontend was also something we were not familiar with so we spent our efforts perfecting our Figma mockup.
