Inspiration

Its inspiration comes from Google Assistant. How Google Assistant is able to perform various tasks by listening to user, similarly imagine entering your expense into our application Expensy just by saying a few words! Wouldn't that be awesome and hassle free!

What it does

Expensy lets users manage their expenses just by saying a few words. The user can add expenses or an income into the system by using the voice assistance functionality. The expense and income visualisation get updated realtime on the charts as and when the user makes an entry to the platform. The user can also make manual enteries into the system. The data is persistant and the user does not lose any of their entries even if the reload the platform.

How we built it

This project is made using ReactJs. It uses Speechly to provide voice support.

Challenges we ran into

Since designing the website is not so challenging, integrating voice assistant with the webapp was a bit challenging, but we are glad, we walked through.
