Inspiration

Expanding Space is an NFT marketplace launched on Evmos where you can freely buy, sell and create your own NFTs. This is the most decentralized and secure NFT marketplace in the world, you don't really need to use our UI to trade here(but our UI is really beautiful).

What it does

Expanding Space gives users the opportunity to interact with their NFTs. You can create, buy and sell any NFT without spending a lot of money on commissions and enjoy interacting with our website.

How we built it

To write smart contracts, we used solidity. Front-end written using ts/js with next.js. For backend we use node.js and ts. We also used tools such as web3 model, waffle, openzeppelin, hardhat, ipfs etc.

Challenges we ran into

For us, this whole project is very complicated. We are novice developers for whom this is generally the first project in web 3. In addition to the fact that the project itself was a challenge for us, but it was also difficult to set up all the interactions within the team, which will speed up the whole process

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Well, we are very glad that we did it! We are very proud of our smart contracts and backend, as well as the design and frontend, which will give our users an unforgettable experience of interacting with our product

What we learned

We have learned a lot. We have learned how to better develop full-fledged applications, as well as work in a team and establish full-fledged business processes. We are very happy about this experience and regardless of the results of the hackathon, we are grateful that we were given the motivation to do this and we got a lot of useful skills.

What's next for Expanding space

We have a lot of plans for the future. First of all, we want to refine our functionality to such a level that the experience of interacting with NFT on Evmos is no worse than on Eth. We are also actively working on our own Launchpad, which will simplify the life of the authors of the NFT collection and give them the opportunity to conduct their mint on our platform.
