Inspiration

Covid-19 has had such a significant social impact that our culture has adapted to social distancing and enhanced understanding of wellbeing. COVID - 19 is still a great threat. We made this app to minimize transmission at places like stores where it has the potential to occur the most. The app allows users and admins to view the COVID guidelines for any particular store. Moreover, instead of queueing up physically, they can do it virtually on the app. Many people are not following the COVID-19 guidelines hence this is an application to abid them to follow these guidelines.

What it does

Instead of bringing in COVID positive people or people with symptoms of it, we will cross-check the temperature using an ios application. We use chirp spectrum which in hence notifies the vendor about the customer and only when the vendor accepts all the information needed in the application such as the body temperature is normal, the person is wearing a mask and the if the person has used the sanitizer kept outside the shop. If these conditions satisfy then only the customer will get discount points. for all conditions, there is a specific number of discount points as the conditions satisfied by the customer decreases the discount points also decrease.

How I built it

The spectrum of a chirp pulse describes its characteristics in terms of its frequency components. This frequency-domain representation is an alternative to the more familiar time-domain waveform, and the two versions are mathematically related by the Fourier transform.

The chirp system is hence used and humans cannot hear the sound of the chirp spectrum. Only when the customer application chirps and when the vendor confirms, the points are credited in the customer's application.

Using Figma as our designing tool and machine learning to detect the mask on the face of the customer to automate the process.

Challenges I ran into

We ran into a lot of challenges during this hackathon because our member got sick during the hackathon and hence the part of the application to be made by our team member was not possible to make. As we had only 1 team member with that technical knowledge, that part of our application lagged due to this incident. As we were using a new technology called chirp spectrum. We faced a lot of issues during its implementation.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

We were successful in the implementation of a new technology CHIRP. We learnt a lot during the hackathon because of this technology and the designs we made.
