When metadata is found, shows metadata, and edit button.
Inspiration
Angel wanted to mislead people with his nature pictures, who look at the metadata.
What it does
We take the images EXIF data, or the data in an image like, latitude and longitude, and you are able to edit it yourself to whatever you want. You can even make the date and time, Spongebob.
How we built it
We started by asking AI to establish a base for our app. We then intended to bug fix and style our application. We did so, and later bug fixed ourselves late into the night.
Challenges we ran into
Stylistically the library PyQt5 was difficult to handle. We spent many hours trying to debug the themes, and something that said (bool does not have attribute read).
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We made a creative, innovative, and new python app, for the cybersecurity world, that we believe can actually help the real world.
What we learned
We learned that debugging sucks. We also learned how to use the libraries pillow and pyqt5 to make ui, and manipulate images.
What's next for EXIFuscator
We may make this into a flask application, so it can be used in web browsers for easy access.
