Inspiration

Exam paper leaks and doctored copies are a recurring problem in Indian exams, and a student or invigilator has no quick way to tell an official paper from an edited one.

What it does

Each official paper's SHA-256 hash is recorded on the Cardano testnet. Upload any copy and Exam Guard re-hashes it and checks it against the chain: authentic or tampered, in one step.

How we built it

Built in 12 hours at IndiaCodeX'26 (with DraperU India and Ethames Business School) with Team Pragmatic, using Cardano, Node.js and Python.
