Insura: AI Agent for Insurance Claim Settlement

Inspiration

The idea for Insura was inspired by the need to streamline and simplify the insurance claim process. Traditional methods can be time-consuming and frustrating for users. By leveraging AI, we aim to create a more efficient, user-friendly experience that reduces the hassle and speeds up claim settlements.

What it does

Insura is an AI-powered agent designed to interact with users through chat or voice. It gathers essential details for insurance claims, such as policy information, incident descriptions, Appointment Booking and Surveyor damage registration. The agent uses natural language processing (NLP) to understand and respond to user queries, ensuring a smooth and intuitive interaction.

How we built it

We used Salesforce Out-Of-The Box agentforce feature to implement the configuration:

  • Topics & Actions: Created Topics, actions and flows to execute logic (create records, get records etc..)
  • Grounding: All the Topic Prompts provided is grounded with salesforce data so agent have better context of the conversation

Challenges we ran into

Some of the challenges we faced included:

  • Data Privacy: Ensuring user data is securely handled and compliant with regulations with einstein trust layer.
  • User Trust: Building a system that users feel confident in sharing sensitive information with.

  • High Accuracy: Achieving a high level of accuracy in understanding and responding to user queries.
  • Efficiency: Significantly reducing the time required for claim processing compared to traditional methods.
