About the project

Eviu is an onchain campaign platform that connects advertisers with creators. It enables anyone to launch campaigns, distribute rewards transparently, and onboard new users into the Polkadot ecosystem through simple creator tasks.

Why I built this

Many creators join campaigns where payment flow is unclear or uneven. At the same time, the Polkadot ecosystem needs easier entry points for new users who want to participate and earn tokens without complex onboarding.

Eviu gives advertisers a way to bring new users into the ecosystem through tasks they already understand, such as writing content or creating art, while ensuring rewards are handled transparently onchain.

What it does

• Advertisers create onchain campaigns with clear reward rules
  
• Creators submit proof of their content
  
• Advertisers review and approve submissions
  
• Rewards are released onchain with full transparency

Example use cases

1. Onboarding developers with create-dot-app
A campaign can ask creators to write one article or thread explaining how to build a dapp using create-dot-app.
If the content meets the criteria, creators receive tokens. This not only helps onboard new developers into Polkadot tooling, but also expands the reach of create-dot-app.
With multiple articles joining the campaign, the collective content can significantly improve SEO and strengthen public awareness of the toolkit.

2. Generative art and NFT campaigns
Generative artists from outside Polkadot can submit artworks based on specific guidelines.
Once approved, they receive token rewards, and their art can be used or showcased in an upcoming NFT marketplace.

Challenges

• Designing a verification flow that is simple yet reliable
  
• Ensuring newcomers feel comfortable interacting with onchain logic
  
• Building a UX that fits both advertisers and creators without complexity
