Inspiration

Our North Star is to move civilization to prosperity by creating open-source technologies which bring freedom back to the people, and we believe web3 is designed to be the bridge to this. Our main tasks on the way to prosperity are to build:

Holistic education methods focused on self-development and effective communication.
More effective public goods governance approaches than capitalistic democracy.
Affordable autonomous open-sourced generators of energy, water, food, and shelter. ## What it does Our first products are:
Immersive learn2earn courses to engage thousands of people to break into web3.
Accelerator to help teams move from grant/hackathon to MVP, pre-seed, and seed round. Our tokens are minted after passing exams after learn2earn courses and distributed between students and mentors. Each token represents a piece of the DAOs treasury which is filled with:
Equity shares in accelerated startups.
Money from grants & hackathons accomplished by the DAO members.
Money from corporate clients willing to pay for the personalized education tracks. ## How we built it We've built our first course for web2 devs willing to break into web3 Solidity: https://docs.evita.one/evita-dao/courses/from-web2-to-web3-dev. We've also launched our accelerator batch filled with a dozen GameFi/DeFi/MassAdoption/Infra products. Our students and mentors have decided to create a fair tokenomics: https://forum.evita.one/t/tokenomics-of-evita-dao/35 and started building it: https://github.com/EvitaDAO/tokenomics. ## Challenges we ran into It was hard to set up a truly web3-native community with no "founding teams," where all essential decisions are made in an open discussion among the peers. It's also not easy to manage open source software development among several devs scattered across the world from LA to ASEAN. ## Accomplishments that we're proud of 1/ See "How we made it" 2/ We've managed our become ## What we learned We learned that we could build a strong community of 50+ people in one month, and they will become aligned with our general mission. It's hard to avoid the temptation of pumps/dumps and moon talks that can temporarily boost the community size, but we decided to focus on organic growth. ## What's next for Evita DAO
We're going to port our smart contract on different networks.
We're launching a new, more accessible, and convenient learn2earn course, which will significantly scale the number of students from dozens to thousands (while securing the quality via peer-to-peer moderation).
We start our R&D lab to understand how we can deliver public goods that will move our civilization to prosperity.
