Inspiration
This game was built to be a puzzle game with a twist, the original concept of the game was to have 4 hard puzzles that would result in you beating the computer virus, only to find out that you've been played and you actually released the virus and now a pseudo zombie apocalypse is spread
What it does
Right now, the game isn't fully ready in the final stage, I have built a row of buildings, and set up the gun controls and have added a scoring system but have yet to add death screens and a goal. The puzzle answers are: delude, AND NOT AND, 3, 72696
How I built it
using the Unity game engine as well as inventor for all the CAD
Challenges I ran into
I couldn't finish because the city itself took over a day to design, as each building was made by me alone. The hardest part was actually getting the text to display on the screen
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
The CAD as well as the smooth typing onto the screen which was implemented into unity.
What I learned
How to design some sense of a model city and those buildings as well as how to implement puzzles and also I improved my Unity skills and saw how one can use the UI text system effectively.
What's next for eVirus
Well first I plan on hollisticly improving the design, then using an L system for modular generation.
Game story
You are a hacker trying to protect the world from a virus by solving these 4 puzzles, this will then cause the world to erupt into chaos as computers become killing machines and now you have to go into the streets and fight them.
