Inspiration
Evidence Coach Pocket teaches one disciplined habit: separate a claim from the evidence offered for it, then ask what the evidence actually supports and what should be checked next.
What it does
A learner enters a claim and a source-backed observation. The app returns one bounded relationship label: SUPPORTED, CONTRADICTED, or INSUFFICIENT, plus a short reason and a "Next evidence needed" prompt.
The app also contains an Evidence Plus unlock path implemented with the RevenueCat React Native SDK. Development is designed for RevenueCat Test Store so purchase-flow evidence can be produced without a real-money transaction.
How it is built
Evidence Coach Pocket is an Android-first Expo / React Native app. The evidence logic is deterministic and locally testable. The RevenueCat layer is separated behind a fail-closed adapter: when a Test Store SDK key is not supplied at runtime, the app reports NOT_CONFIGURED and does not attempt a purchase.
The public branch includes Node tests, a secret guard, Expo dependency validation, Android prebuild, and a GitHub Actions Gradle assembleDebug build. The current CI run produced a debug APK successfully.
Verification
- 8/8 unit tests PASS in CI
- RevenueCat secret guard PASS
- Expo Doctor PASS
- Android prebuild PASS
- Gradle assembleDebug PASS
- APK artifact independently downloaded and SHA-256 read back
Current boundary
The Android build is verified, but a real RevenueCat Test Store transaction is not claimed yet. Project ID, Test Store product/offering/entitlement configuration, device purchase replay, student-email eligibility, guardian consent where applicable, and final competition assets remain separate gates.
