INSPIRATION
Our inspiration stemmed from a fascination with AI tools, and the desire to streamline our daily tasks efficiently. The tedious process of bookmarking and searching for these tools prompted us to create a website. This platform not only simplifies our access to these tools but also facilitates easy sharing with our peers. Throughout the project, we learned valuable insights, honed our skills in web development, and overcame challenges to create a user-friendly solution.
What it does
Everything AI. serves as a curated bookmark collection that includes a carefully chosen selection of essential AI tools. These tools are thoughtfully categorized to enhance user experience, facilitating easier task completion and automation. Users can access this resource to efficiently find and utilize the AI tools relevant to their needs, streamlining daily tasks and enhancing productivity.
How we built it
We employed HTML and CSS to create the user interface and deployed the website using Netlify. To enrich the content and provide concise information about the AI tools, we utilised various chatbots such as ChatGPT, BARD, POE and Forefront Chat. These chatbots helped gather information on each AI tool and condensed it into short, user-friendly descriptions. This approach enhances the overall user experience by offering quick and digestible insights into the functionalities of the curated AI tools.
Challenges we ran into
Currently, during the development phase of our website "Everything AI," we have not encountered significant challenges. The project is still under development, and our focus is on continuous learning and improvement. We anticipate challenges in the future as we plan to expand the website by adding more categories and incorporating additional AI tools. This forthcoming expansion may require dedicated effort and hard work to ensure that the website continues to evolve and offer an enhanced user experience with an ever-growing collection of AI tools.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We organized a workshop at our college where we delved into the potential of AI tools and their role in enhancing efficiency. During the session, we elucidated on how these tools can be instrumental in simplifying tasks. Furthermore, we introduced our website as a practical example, demonstrating how it serves as a resource for categorized AI tools. The workshop aimed to empower participants with insights into the application of AI tools and encourage them to explore the benefits of technology in their daily tasks.
What we learned
Technical Skills: Acquiring proficiency in HTML and CSS allowed us to create an effective and visually appealing user interface for our website.
