Inspiration

As the theme suggests Women Empowerment, we decided to work on a project that would be beneficial to the society. We found that there are many women’s who have skills that can generate economy but they are not getting platform to sell their products via their skills. So, with this all inspiration we decided to build “Everyone’s Home Store”.

What it does

It is an online ecommerce site where difference home made products can be ordered online. It lists various category of home made products by women and then they are put on the site to sell and generate ecomony.

How we built it

We built it using the Wix and bit of Velo to accomplish the site.

Challenges we ran into

We had been hearing about WIX a lot of time from Ads of YouTube but never ever used it so getting into the environment of wix was a little bit confusing for us but ultimately it turned out the many things can be automated and easily be build like adding products listing products and so on.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are happy that we have successfully built an ecommerce site in short interval of time, all thanks to WIX.

What we learned

WIX was complete new to us and working on WIX, we got to know many things and become familiar with the WIX environment and then creating products, managing products, displaying products, Working with JS inside Velo, and many more.

What's next for Everyone's Home Store

We are planning to implement local payment gateway through different API since the site is focusing to the local community and local payment gateway will be more relatable than using international payment gateway.
