Inspiration I always wondered how health and the medical field can be contributed from the tech industry, but I never heard about that niche ever up until last week in a pre-hackathon zoom meeting about health tech and that's what inspired me.

What it does

So, a lot of the time low-income families have trouble and experience major inconveniences finding a doctor that accepts their healthcare. So, what we decided to do is built an interface of a database of doctors with their office addresses, name, the healthcare they accept, their hours, and the type of doctor they are on the backend. Then we would prompt the user about what healthcare they have, and their address also since we calculated distance to better the search results, the type of doctor they need, and the hours that work for them. After the users enters it, we had search results that would show them doctors that perfectly fit them, so they don't have to go through the major inconvenience they used to go through.

How we built it

Challenges we ran into

Some of the challenges we ran into are that we have just met randomly and are all complete strangers to each other from different countries, so communication was definitely a minor problem. Another problem we had is that we are all proficient in completely different languages and we all didn't have experience linking up different language codes. And as of right now, our front-end website dude ditched on us last second and completely screwed us over in a way.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Figuring out the distance and reading the file took us a while to figure it out. We had to read all the databases in C++ and if anybody knows what that's like if you read the database wrong by even a minor space like this" " you can be debugging for hours. Also building the interface of both classes of patients and doctors and finding out

What we learned

No matter how the problems are, break them down into smaller problems and just relax. When you look at big complex problems you can easily freak out and think you can't do it when in reality with some patience, thinking, and determination you can figure out the problem at hand.

What's next for Every HealthCare Works

One would be is to get a real database and invest in the project this time, maybe get a different viewpoint on it and now that there's no "time limit " we actually have time to implement more stuff that can benefit
