Inspiration
The inspiration for this project all started when I wanted to create an alarm for myself. Despite it, reading the poster from MTbank and watching wireframes and prototyping. I found my inspiration aline with them, and thus I started the project. I also gain newer inspiration by asking other students for their feedback on current wireframes and prototyping.
What it does
It allows the target user, to create their own begetting bar to manage their money spending. This website allows the user to set their Category, Limit, and Alert Message. After setting their budget, it will create a bar where the user could input their spending to that category. If it passes their set category, it will be sent an email back to the user and their message and their details. It would also give information about begetting.
How we built it
I built it by using bootstrap for the framework and flask for the backend. And had docker set up to create this server connection with MongoDB for the database. Lastly had HTML and CSS with Javascript for putting everything together
Challenges we ran into
Learning new CSS styles and front-end design based on the user story or feedback I obtain.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
The front end has applied all the user stories and allows them to see their envision.
What we learned
Having know different user stories and feedback allows me to open my eye to the different styles a website could have.
What's next for EverGreen
Support large databases, create user support, support large stale databases with updated data, and support live chat and support email with budgeting needs.
