Eveplora

Inspiration

The idea for Eveplora came from the Linkedin post feedback of over 50,000 students who struggled with hackathon platforms that were hard to navigate and lacked tools for ideation. They expressed a need for a more interactive and efficient platform to help them find best hackathons and events in interactive manner and generate ideas.

What it does

Eveplora is a platform that combines 3D technology and AI-powered tools to enhance creativity and simplify hackathon and event participation.

How we built it

We built Eveplora using Google Photorealistic 3D Maps and Three.js for 3D rendering, and integrated AI through OpenAI for idea generation.

Challenges we ran into

Integrating AI with 3D technology posed performance and design challenges.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We posted just 3 posts before submission and got crazy response:
- 2 Instagram posts with over 1.9 million views and 1,000 new followers in one day.
- A LinkedIn post with over 500k views in 5 days.
- Marketing campaigns are projected to close 10 million views and 10,000+ pre-registered students. (already colleted 3253 students google form submissions)
Our efforts were complemented by the CEO of Devfolio.

What we learned

We learned the importance of combining cutting-edge technologies, how user feedback drives innovation, and how real-time collaboration can unlock creativity in ways that static platforms cannot.
We gained hands-on experience with Three.js elements for 3D interactivity and visualization.

What's next for Eveplora

We’re focused on launching the platform with more interactive event and hackathon features. Upcoming updates will include capabilities to find nearby projects and students working on exciting initiatives, making Eveplora a hub for innovation and collaboration.
