Events shape culture, learning, and community, yet access to them is fragmented and unreliable. We wanted to simplify how people discover meaningful experiences around them.

What it does

Eventz is a discovery and engagement platform that connects people to relevant events and helps organizers reach audiences more effectively.

How we built it

We built a mobile-first platform focused on clarity and speed, using Gemini 3 to enhance event understanding, summaries, and intelligent discovery.

Challenges we ran into

Working with inconsistent event information, narrowing a strong MVP, and integrating AI in a way that actually adds value under tight timelines.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We delivered a clear, usable product with real-world relevance, strong design foundations, and a vision that extends beyond the hackathon.

What we learned

Good products start with focus. AI is most powerful when it simplifies decisions, not when it complicates the experience.

What's next for Eventz

Expanding personalization, adding organizer dashboards, improving recommendations, and growing Eventz into a trusted event ecosystem.
