Inspiration

It is a hectic process to keep changing platforms for searching for events and organizing them especially due to the large no of genres. Therefore, a one stop solution can help to simplify life.

What it does

EventXpert allows users to organize and join events of any type be it fun or something that is helpful for your career.

How we built it

We built EventXpert using the Python Full Stack along with some improvisations. We used Flask for the backend server. For the frontend, we used HTML, CSS and JavaScript along with React.JS as it is a very versatile solution to manage frontend on the user side.

Challenges we ran into

Some of the main challenges we faced while using EventXpert were integrating two different stacks that is the Python Full Stack along with React .JS as they both don't have a direct interface. Another challenge was trying to accomodate the different types of events as it is a very vast list but still it gave us a learning lesson.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We can proudly tell that when fully developed, EventXpert will be the one stop solution to organize, plan and participate in events across the world. We are also proud of the fact that we could build a good enough working model of EventXpert within 30 Hours and we will continue to develop it till it becomes as intuitive as possible.

What we learned

We learned that real world development requires hard work along with proper motivation and this is a stepping stone to future skill development.

What's next for EventXpert

EventXpert will be worked on till it reaches the most intuitive, seamless design possible so that it can become the true One Stop Solution for Events.
