Eventricks

Inspiration

When I tried organizing an event for my family, I found how difficult and time consuming the whole process was. This led me to build Eventricks, which is an AI-powered Event organizer (currently only for New York), that based on your requirements, will help you find the best venue and vendors for your event.

What it does

It has a custom dataset of Venue and Vendors, and based on the user's requirements, it will suggest the best possible venue. In addition to that, it will also help user select best bundle of services needed for an event (like catering, security, cleaning etc.)

How we built it

It was built using the Vertex AI agent

Challenges we ran into

I tried connecting it with an external API, which did not work, but I later realized that relying on an API won't be necessary for this use case, as I want to provide custom data

Learnt a lot about Vertex AI, and how capable it is

What's next for Eventricks

I am going to host it as a Dialogflow messenger on http://eventrov.events
