inspiration
Evento is sourced from a vision of bringing all community members together via one platform and which will then be extended to them participating and engaging with it. We identified the necessity for a technology that gives people simplicity and happiness at their heart when choosing from a list of exciting events, such as a hackathon or a workshop. We believe that our tool can not only solve the problems related to the quality of life we have without taking anything from the essence but also enable people to get to know each other and make contacts that everyone believes are important not only among us the employees themselves but also with the management
What it does
Evento is a community web application that lets users interact and participate in events. Community Forum Services: Users can interact with forums and share ideas and connections with those who also think like them. Event Discovery: Users can find and join hackathons, workshops, and other fitness activities after customizing their search and filtering options. User Authentication: Transaction secured through Google authentication. Latest Updates: To ensure people have the newest data possible, Firebase is utilized for the timely and relevant data management of the app
How we built it
Evento Development was led by the utilization of these technologies:
Utilizing React: This software helps in the development of user interfaces that are sensitive and interactive.Firebase: This was used for real-time data management and as the primary backend service. Google Authentication API: It was added for secure and seamless user authentication
JavaScript: Programming language used for the bulk of the development. Integrating Google Authentication: Making it a smooth and secure process of the user's authentication was the biggest challenge, keeping it to the user's understanding of the process of the data they give us together with the permissions we will or need to give them. Real-time Data Synchronization: In the course of data processing by Firebase, storing and updating real-time data caused some technical issues. The most prominent of them all is the data inconsistency that is the basis of the data subsequently being supplied in the process. Successfully Integration of Real-time Features: We achieved the automation of real-time updates on our web app to enhance user talents and boost contribution. Secure and Seamless Authentication: We set up a secure authentication plugin that makes it a hard time for the unauthorized side to retrieve client data. User-centric Design: The good thing is that we developed a platform that is both serving and at the same time accessible to the very first users and they were as well giving us feedback of comfort.
