Inspiration
People walk around everyday surrounded by events ranging from free and fun to professional and educational. However, these events go missed simply because the greater public is not aware of them. We asked, what can we do about this?
What it does
EventMe is an proximity-based event finder. We help connect people with more people.
How we built it
We built both a native mobile app and website which communicate using a common Firebase database.

What we learned
Starting only with the basics, we learned tons of web development concepts and how to tie everything together (between web app and native mobile app)
What's next for EventMe
Convert the website to React Integrate more features (filtering, advanced event managing, push notifications, etc)
