Our project's inspiration stems from the desire to simplify the often complex world of event management. Witnessing the challenges event organizers face in juggling various aspects, we envisioned Eventify as a solution that seamlessly brings together technology and innovation to streamline the entire process.

What it does 🤔🎯

Eventify addresses the problem of time-consuming and disjointed event organization. Traditional methods often lead to scattered information, confusion, and inefficiencies. Our platform aims to provide a centralized hub where users can effortlessly create, manage, and explore events. By doing so, we empower organizers to focus on the essence of their events, while attendees experience a more seamless and engaging event discovery process.

How we built it 🛠️👷‍♀️

Our project's evolution hinged on a meticulous fusion of technology and collaboration. Leveraging ReactJS, we forged an engaging front-end interface that beckons intuitive user interaction.

As the project's backbone, Grafbase orchestrated seamless data orchestration and interaction. Auth0 fortified our security, embedding robust authentication to shield user data.

Innovation reached new heights with Speechly, enabling effortless event description input. The crux of our innovation lay in integrating OpenAI, lending AI prowess to dynamically generate captivating event descriptions.

The intricately woven GraphQL schema, facilitated by Grafbase's adept management, seamlessly directed the flow of data. This synergy culminated in a user-centric and feature-rich platform, exemplifying Eventify's steadfast dedication to reshaping event management. Our utilization of cutting-edge tools, including the integration of OpenAI, further enhances the platform's seamless user experience.

What we learned 👨‍💻

We learned efficient use of graphql and also the implementation of additional tools like Speechly and openAI. Also, we learned a new technology grafbase which made usage of graphql easier.
