Inspiration

College events are exciting, but managing them is often confusing—different posters, WhatsApp groups, and scattered information make it hard for students to register and stay updated. We wanted to build a unified platform where colleges can post events easily and students can discover, register, and participate without friction. This inspired us to create EventHub, a smart and organized event management solution designed specifically for campuses.

What it does

EventHub is a campus event management platform where:

Colleges can create accounts, post events, manage registrations, and update event details.

Students can sign up, browse all upcoming events, register instantly, and receive updates.

Admins get a dedicated dashboard, and students get their own personalized event feed.

Payments (if required for an event) are seamlessly integrated.

How we built it

Frontend: Built using Base44, React, and Firebase UI components for fast development and a modern look.

Backend: Firebase Authentication for login & registration, Firebase Firestore for storing event data and user details.

Storage: Firebase Storage for event posters, documents, and banners.

Real-time updates: Firestore listeners keep event lists and registrations synced instantly.

Deployment: Hosted on Firebase Hosting for quick and secure access.
