Inspiration

EventHive is a website we built to help people with events. We made it because we wanted to make event planning and attending events easy and fun.

What it does

EventHive lets you create your own events or find events to attend. If you want to host an event, you can set it up on EventHive. If you're looking for something to do, you can search for events and get all the details.

Key Features:

  • Easy event creation and management.
  • Quick event registration
  • Event categories to find what you like.
  • User profiles to keep track of your events.
  • Chat with others about events.

How We Built It

We used modern tools like React for the part you see, Node.js for the part behind the scenes, and MongoDB to store information. We worked in small steps to make the site better and better. We used different parts to make the site work well and look good.

Challenges We Faced

While working on EventHive, we had some tough problems to solve:

  • Keeping the site safe and secure for everyone.
  • Making the site look nice and easy to use.
  • Making sure the site runs fast, even with lots of people using it.
  • Adding real-time updates so you always know what's happening.

Solving these problems needed careful thinking and teamwork.
