You are at the right place Here even if you are an event planner can find a thing to do, whether it is planning your next work or just looking around. Taking this into consideration eventgo provides utilities for both event planners and newbies just running around.

What it does

It is a visualized event planner which uses interactive react-flow to provide the best way to design your event workflow, look for themes, collect your themes, schedule your events, or even get recommendations on which event is more suitable with help of lasted chatgpt based AI answering. It also allows users to download their event workflow designed in the app in image formats.

How we built it

We used -

  • NextJS
  • Next-Auth
  • TailWindCSS
  • MongoDB
  • GitHub
  • ChatGPT APIs
  • Totally made using typescript for better coverage and usability, and nextJS latest version to provide the best rendering and least time-wasting auth using next-auth while taking security into consideration with the help of MongoDB.

Challenges we ran into

  • Looking for chatGPT APIs was way more troublesome than we thought and the worst part all APIs are paid so we have to register payments for the app.
  • Also nextJS app was giving issues due to the heavy load of rendering a due large number of files without optimization and testing making it hard to deal with.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

  • Our first use of chatGPT APIs in a webpage was drastically we are proud of ourselves that we can achieve it with fewer hurdles.
  • Working on a such large number of files alone is really beneficial and increases experience at skyrocketing speed.

What we learned

  • We learned about the pricing of chatGPT APIs and what is the classification between engines and models and when and where to use each of them.

What's next for eventgo

  • Next we will also add other AI models for better recommendations and detailings additionally we will also add better user authentication for more secure and functionality.
