Inspiration
It is appropriate for us to create an instagram-like application so that we are closer to young people who do not really want to attend events in the city or at their school, maybe if I see their equation I attend events at school, I will want to attend.
What it does
Displays events in different cities and schools, navigates to specific events using the map.
How we built it
We will create an application for android devices or for IOS using react-native, where we will obtain data using a firebase with scraping from another website.
Challenges we've encountered
The biggest challenge for us will be teamwork, as we have so far worked individually or in pairs.
Achievements we are proud of
We are most proud that our application will change the data according to the user's preferences or whether he wants to use the application in Light mode or in Dark mode. We are also proud that we managed to compile a QR code for scanning events.
What we learned
We learned the most about working with firebase, expo and also typescript. We also improved in reactive and also in C #, we used python to download data.
What's next for Event Master
In the future, we want people to be able to add friends and see what events are going on, or to see where their friends are on the map, and to be able to join the event they are going to. The app will also chat to make it easier to communicate with friends. Just as I will be able to follow the individual events and the companies in which these events will take place, so people will be able to follow the connections of acquaintances and friends to get together and be together at an event.
