Inspiration
The idea for Evenzs.com was born out of personal frustration and observation — event planning is fragmented, stressful, and time-consuming. From finding the right vendors to booking tickets and coordinating travel, we realized there wasn't a single platform that seamlessly handled it all. We envisioned Evenzs as a one-stop ecosystem for events, blending marketplace efficiency with intuitive planning tools.
What it does
Evenzs.com is an all-in-one event marketplace that connects customers with trusted vendors, lets users post and plan events, buy tickets, and even manage travel — all from a single platform. Whether you're organizing a wedding, concert, or corporate event, Evenzs makes planning seamless by bringing together vendor bidding, ticketing, and travel coordination into one intuitive experience.
How we built it
Evenzs.com was built with a modular architecture:
Two portals: one for vendors (to bid on events and list services), and one for customers (to post events, book vendors, and buy tickets).
Tech Stack: React.js for frontend, Node.js + Express for backend, SupaBase for data storage.

Challenges we ran into
Balancing complexity and usability: Combining marketplace, booking, and bidding logic was a significant challenge.
Vendor onboarding: Getting vendors to trust a new platform and create listings was initially tough.
Scalability: Architecting for multiple cities and use cases while keeping performance optimal.
Payment integration: Ensuring seamless and secure transactions for both vendors and customers.
