Purpose of the Program In today’s world, event organizers need easier ways of handling large volumes of people in less time, and figure out how they can run events better in the future. Not only is it hard to get people to come to your events, but a long wait time for registering can start off the event on the wrong note.

We created an easy solution to smoothen out the process of planning and running your events! With Event.io, you can set up where you want the event to take place and let us handle the rest. When your guests arrive, they receive all of their registration information right to their phone! Forget those long lines!

As an event holder, you can view all the statistics to find out how your event went. You can view how many people came, how long people stayed, and by what time most people had arrived.

How it Works Simply register an account on Event.io, and start by creating an event. Tell us the location, when it will be, and give it a title. Then anybody who wants to come to the event can register for it, and we will register them when they show up!

The Technology The core of our service is a Node.js and Express micro-service programmed in TypeScript. We allow our clients to connect to it however they want, which provides an easy integration with their already existing applications. The micro-service utilizes MongoDB Atlas in combination with Radar.io for all data storage and geolocation services.

There is a React front-end for our platform that our clients have the option of using if they do not want to integrate our API with existing applications.
